Get Out the Vote

Conceptualized, developed, and executed an integrated voting campaign for SoundExchange ahead of the 2020 elections. The idea behind the campaign was to get influential artists across genres to share why voting matters to them and to include the ads across social media and in print and digital music publications. Leveraging our relationships with artists within the SoundExchange community, we secured participation from high-profile artists including Billie Eilish, Ricky Martin, Mary J. Blige, Finneas, and Selena Gomez. In addition to leading the campaign effort, I ghostwrote quotes for the artists and worked closely with their management and legal teams to get the final signoff. We also partnered with When We All Vote, a nonpartisan organization aimed at increasing election turnouts, on community outreach events and social media content.
